At Hermani Heritage, we believe the best craftsmanship isn’t invented - it’s remembered. This summer, we returned to Italy, to see, be inspired and to listen. To the pace. The textures. The rituals. Together with our long-time friends at Why & Co., we traveled across regions that have shaped both our brands.
This three-part journal shares what we saw, what we carried home, and what continues to inspire how we make things that last.
An Italian Summer - Part I: Cinque Terre
This summer, we set off on a journey through Italy with our long-time partner Why & Co. - creators of some of the finest leather shoes. Based in Singapore, Why & Co. shares our belief that great design begins with great materials. Their footwear is crafted using full-grain leathers sourced from one of Florence’s most prestigious tanneries - a place where texture, character, and legacy are treated with care.
Different products. Same philosophy: authenticity, restraint, and a deep respect for craft.

EGYPTIAN COTTON SOCKS
SHOP NOWOur journey took us south to Cinque Terre, where color and composition exist in perfect balance. Here, every building is sun-washed and timeworn, every detail curated by nature and age: terracotta, olive, chalk, midnight blue. A visual language that echoes the tones found across our collection.

It’s in this stillness and simplicity that we found affirmation - in why we use only natural yarns, in why we choose breathability over excess, form over flash. Our ribbed Egyptian Cotton socks moved through this landscape with quiet purpose, just as they’re meant to - lightweight, resilient, soft to the skin.

We watched linen flutter from balconies, wandered stone paths in shade and sun, and spoke not just about product, but permanence - how good things are made, and why they last.
