An Italian Summer - A Journal in Three Parts

At Hermani Heritage, we believe the best craftsmanship isn’t invented - it’s remembered. This summer, we returned to Italy, to see, be inspired and to listen. To the pace. The textures. The rituals. Together with our long-time friends at Why & Co., we traveled across regions that have shaped both our brands.

This three-part journal shares what we saw, what we carried home, and what continues to inspire how we make things that last.

An Italian Summer - Pitti Uomo

As autumn settles in, we find ourselves looking back at the moments that shaped our summer - a season defined by craftsmanship, connection, and colour. One of those moments was our visit to Pitti Uomo in Florence, the world’s most celebrated gathering for menswear and design.

At Pitti Uomo, the world of menswear gathers - tailors, shoemakers, designers, and connoisseurs. For Hermani, it was less about standing out and more about being present in the right company. Here, details matter. Here, socks aren’t an afterthought - they are part of the language of dressing.

Walking the fairgrounds, we saw why Pitti remains unmatched. Colours, textures, silhouettes - an endless dialogue between tradition and experimentation.

Our visit was not to exhibit but to connect - with partners, with ideas, with the culture that continues to shape the way men dress. Pitti Uomo is both a mirror and a laboratory. It reminds us that while trends change, the foundations endure.

For us, those foundations begin with what you wear closest to the skin. Socks that breathe, socks that last, socks that hold their place in every step of the sartorial journey.
